The notion crossed my mind that I might not be skilled at setting Healthy Boundaries. This realization prompted me to research and do a deep-dive to understand the importance of strengthening my boundaries with everyone, and to conclude that those who didn’t respect my boundaries didn’t have a place in my life. As painful and uncomfortable as it was, it became necessary for me to let go of these toxic, unhealthy and unbalanced relationships. 

As a global Narcissistic Abuse Coach, my mission is to empower Survivors to thrive and become “surTHRIVERS” who assert their boundaries and prevent being taken advantage of in their future relationships. This language provides them with the tools to validate their own struggles and connect with others who have faced similar challenges, reducing feelings of isolation and self-doubt. Next, knowledge of this terminology aids mental health professionals in recognising and addressing narcissistic abuse. This can lead to more effective therapy and support for survivors, helping them on their path to recovery. Further, awareness of the narcissistic abuse lexicon can contribute to broader societal understanding of this pervasive issue. The more people are educated about the dynamics and tactics employed by narcissists, the better equipped they are to identify abusive behaviour in their own lives, potentially preventing further harm. In essence, the knowledge of terminology within the narcissistic abuse community serves as a valuable tool for survivors, therapists, and society as a whole. It fosters empathy, support, and a collective effort to combat narcissistic abuse, ultimately promoting healing, resilience, and healthier relationships.

I am a motivational speaker and online presence talking about narcissism and emotional trauma. I am a trainee psychologist and my work is about enabling the survivor to realise that recovery is possible by reconnecting back to themselves and starting to build a strong alliance with their core spirit. This is a very important and necessary part of the process of healing.
